I always find myself saying fashion is an investment when really it's another dress to add to my collection of millions (I don’t really need it). Being a fashionmonger is a lifestyle not just a quality. The biography of my life is fashion, fashion. However do we always need what we see in the high street window. The short answer is. NO! Fashion is adroitness, elegance and authority all in one. A popular quote by Miss Vivienne Westwood is ‘Buy less. Choose well. Make it last’. When Miss Westwood makes a fashion statement you agree no matter the circumstances.
Fashion is a form of expression, fashion is where your life begins and ends. You won’t ever realise at the time, although eventually everything you wear will become a memory. One day you will find yourself rummaging through your wardrobe and find the dress you wore when you got your dream job and everything fell into place. The blouse you wore when you met your soulmate, shoes that used to be your favourite thing you owned hold that horrible memory. You can’t even bare to look at them anymore. In result of every experience you’ve had cherished or hated, you’ll find those loved pieces you’ll hand down too your daughter. The piece you hate after what happened the last time you happened to wear it. You’ll find yourself throwing away the bad memories for your wardrobe saving hangers for the new pieces to come into your hands. And you’ll start your new chapter in. Life through fashion, a reawakening through yourself in life and in the world of fashion.
